Honey Code January 2013

Working with textiles artist Julia OConnell, we created a collaborative piece for display at the new Computer Science and Engineering building at Coventry University.

Using software a generative piece, that resembled the buildings architecture, was created to produce a pattern with Julia would then stitch into a fabric wall hanging. Printed on the reverse of the wall hanging is the source code that creates the actual piece.

The cyclical process is transformed and displayed in analogue and digital form at Coventry University. Some screenshots below:
